Your Dog Isn't "Bad"

But something has changed. Living with a dog who barks, lunges, growls, guards resources, panics, shuts down, or struggles to recover can affect nearly every part of your life.

Walks become stressful. Visitors require a plan. Taking your dog anywhere feels like a gamble. You may even find yourself arranging your entire routine around avoiding another incident.

Our job is to identify what is driving the behavior, determine what can realistically change, and build a practical training plan for both you and your dog.

Every training program combines:

We Train for the Life You Actually Live

We consider the whole dog, including genetics, temperament, health, learning history, relationships, environment, daily fulfillment, and the situations in which the behavior occurs.

Training may include:

We create meaningful, realistic improvements and give you the skills to confidently support it.

You're Part of the Training Too

We can build skills with your dog, but long-term success depends on what happens after your dog returns home.

Dogs thrive with purpose, consistency, and clear communication.

Owner education is included because you need to understand what you’re seeing, why you’re responding a certain way, and how to make good decisions when a difficult moment doesn’t go exactly as planned.

"I brought Athena to Wild Child because she was redirecting her frustration onto her sister, Skye. I had tried researching and hiring other trainers, but nothing helped. After working with Kara, Athena learned to regulate her emotions and think before acting. She has made a ton of progress! Athena really enjoyed training and was always super excited to go back!"
