Wild Child Dog Training
We are a Veteran and women owned dog training company located on the coast of Eastern North Carolina. Teaching owners and dogs alike in a way that they can understand and apply to their daily life.
We pride ourselves on our flexibility, applying different learning methods and training styles to help you and your dog both learn new tasks with clear communication. We truly believe that harmony can be obtained between human and animal, if we set realistic expectations, meet our dog’s needs, and create a mutual trust…all keys to a healthy relationship.
The reason why we’re so successful and one of the go to trainers for behavior is because we teach you and your dog how to become a team. We put heavy emphasis on playing with your dog and teaching them how to relax in different enviorments vs. managaing them through obedience commands.
We offer basic and advance obedience, behavior modification, and puppy socialization to the state of North Carolina and the continental United States.
Training for you and your best friend.

“Sydney is absolutely amazing. Her passion for training dogs and their owners is evident with each training session. We appreciate all of her hard work and patience with us and our Max. We definitely recommend Wild Child Dog Training!!!”

“Cannot recommend Sydney enough! We went through her “Good Dog” program with our collie. At each lesson, Sydney made sure we were training our dog correctly and she was progressing well and we understood how and why we were using certain techniques. Our collie is so much more well behaved in and out of the home and has even stopped harassing our house cats. We absolutely loved working with Wild Child and highly recommend them!“
“The Wild Child crew is AMAZING. We did a 4-week board and train with our 1.5-year-old mini Aussie who needed some behavioral modification. During the process, we were able to see video updates on their social media pages every day (which helped A LOT)
I recommend the heck out of them!“
