With a wealth of knowledge and experience in dealing with aggressive dogs, Sydney has an extensive background working with various canines across the globe.

Since May 2020, Kara has been honing her abilities with Wild Child Dog Training. Her most treasured moments during training occur when the dogs begin to unwind and genuinely enjoy the freedom they've attained through teamwork. With a history in grooming and experience in horse training, Kara takes pleasure in working with puppies and timid dogs, guiding them to explore the world in a positive way and guiding their owners to explore the depths of the pet-owner connection.

Our comprehensive Full Puppy Package ensures a well-trained companion for life! This program consists of a 1 to 2 week initial training period followed by a return visit at 6 months for advanced on and off-leash obedience training. We will cover all the bases in this program to make sure you have a well-behaved and well-rounded pup no matter where you go. This program is results based, so length of stay is dependent on your dog. On average this program is 3-5 weeks long and is for puppies under 5 months old.

Our highly regarded Behavior Mod program has gained attention from dog owners nationwide. Through this program, we will equip your dog with new skills to address their challenging behaviors. Additionally, we will guide you in effectively interpreting your dog's needs, enabling you to understand and manage them in a way that fosters peace and harmony within your home. This program is results based, so length of stay is dependent on your dog. On average this program is 6-8 weeks long.

Dogs stay on Sydney’s property in private, temperature-controlled runs equipped with video surveillance. Throughout the day, they are walked and played with on our 10-acre facility, which features a pond, an indoor training building, and a covered arena with agility equipment. During rest periods, each dog has access to their own outdoor run where they can sniff, socialize, or enjoy their favorite chew bone. All kennels are cleaned daily and always stocked with fresh water. Indoor kennels are monitored using a temperature device called Waggle. Each day, dogs receive their proper meals, any necessary medications, a daily chew, a complimentary lavender wipe-down, and fresh bedding. We firmly believe that dogs learn best when calm, so we go the extra mile to meet every dog’s needs and ensure a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

We'll talk about your training objectives and your pup, and then we'll either recommend various training options or arrange an evaluation to observe your dog directly. Following our conversation, whether it's over the phone or in person, we'll send you an online intake form to complete. After we receive the completed form, we'll secure a spot for your pup at our school and provide you with some tasks to begin practicing at home! You will be added to our private Facebook group for additional support until your first session begins!
